Meet the Speaker: Mike and Maya Johnson

Mike and Maya have been in ministry for over 25 years, serving in both missions and pastoral ministry. They have four children and a beautiful granddaughter, Julia. They enjoy good books, all things outdoors, and coffee. Both Mike and Maya have experience in counseling and love serving people in ministry.

Having ministered in a variety of contexts, they understand the pressures of ministry and know that gospel work, as beautiful and satisfying as it is, is often accompanied by pain. In his kindness, the Lord has not left us as orphans but has given us many resources in his word to help us remain hopeful and steadfast as we minister in this sin-crusted, broken world. Join them as they explore how the Bible teaches us to pray in pain.
