Meet the Speaker: Ken Lippold

Ken Lippold, pastor of Christ Church, Los Angeles, will be with us at Cultivate 2026 to break down Isaiah 6 and show us the shape of prayer – up, down, up, out.

In his main session, Ken will teach the importance of making prayer a pattern we grow in, not a technique we perfect.

In his breakout groups, he’ll show us how to build prayer into our church's gathered worship, focusing on the order of service, phraseology, and the daily rhythms that form our congregations into the kind of people who fervently pray.

Ken will show Cultivate why liturgy forms us not by repetition, but by setting the beauty of Christ before the heart week after week. This pattern is the same one Isaiah walked, the one the Gospel carries, and it’s the pattern that transforms our daily prayer life.
