Cultivate 2026: Meet Our Workshop Leaders

Cultivate 2026 is returning to Sioux Falls September 24–25, and registration is open now! We're excited to introduce two more workshop speakers joining our lineup.

Carol Madison
From national publications to directing national prayer strategies, Carol has devoted herself to calling believers to prayer. She'll lead two breakout sessions:

Session 1: A Mighty Force: God's Movement in the Next Generation

When God stirred revival on the Asbury University campus in 2023, it "just happened" to be exactly 50 years after the last revival on that campus. And now campuses across the U.S. are igniting with a fresh awakening. Students are rising up in prayer, worship, and the advancement of the gospel. During this breakout session, we’ll join in praying for this next generation to take its place in Kingdom advancement.

Session 2: Women Who Pray with Passion and Purpose

Anna never left her prayer post. For years, she fasted and prayed at the Temple, day and night. She found herself in a divinely orchestrated moment when Joseph and Mary showed up with Jesus. Her passionate prayers prepared her to meet Jesus and then talk endlessly about Him to everyone in Jerusalem. In this breakout session, we’ll learn the powerful testimonies of women who pray, and about how God blesses our prayers to release even greater purpose in our lives to testify of His wondrous love, power, and answered prayers.

Brad Nelson

Brad was born and raised in Minneapolis. He graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Bethel College in 1980 and was self-employed in construction when he began attending Bethel Seminary. He joined staff in 1987 as the Pastor for Youth, where he served for 20 years. He has been serving as the Pastor for Global Outreach since 2021.

Brad and his wife, Cindy, have been married since 1987. They have four children and four grandchildren. As the Pastor for Global Outreach at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Brad brings decades of ministry experience to his workshop session: Cultivating Prayer and Care for Our Missionaries, helping us think practically about supporting those we've sent out.
