Bringing the Light of the World to Moldova: A Mattei Family Update

During the past year of diligent support raising, the Mattei family has seen the hand of God directing their path and encouraging them in many ways. Sergiu and Victoria, along with their three children, thank the Lord for the prayers lifted on their behalf, the faithful partners God has provided, generous gifts of time and resources from partners and friends, and regular words of encouragement.

Sergiu thanks the many churches and friends who provided over 60 opportunities last year to share about the work that God has called them to do in Moldova. Many times, the whole family was able to go to these gatherings. Victoria relayed a story from one such meeting when a woman of prayer said to her, “When things are hard, remember I pray for you every day.” Those words have rung in Victoria’s ears and spoken to her heart many times since the two ladies were together.

The Matteis desire to be in Moldova in the summer of 2024 to share the Light of the world. Currently, they have reached 34 percent of their support goal. Several churches and individuals have promised support beginning this month, but partners are still needed to get them to the place God has called them to be! Please join them in prayer for God to bring in the support that they need to move to Moldova! Prayerfully consider how you can support this important kingdom work!

From Sergiu & Victoria:

Again Jesus spoke to them saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

We pray that the light of the world, which is the presence of God, will be with you always.

An nou Fericit!
Happy New Year!
