Cultivate Conference


The 2023 Cultivate Conference is being held on Thursday, September 14, and Friday, September 15, at Faith Baptist Fellowship, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and is open to all.

Immediately preceding the conference will be the Converge Heartland District Annual Meeting & Luncheon which is open to leaders and voting delegates of affiliated churches as well as those church leaders interested in affiliating with Converge Heartland.

Church leaders across the Heartland acknowledge their desire to see people come to faith in Christ and to experience stronger conversion growth. To help resource this critical area of church health, the 2023 Cultivate Conference is focused on “Cultivating Evangelism and Outreach.” With five keynote sessions and multiple workshops to choose from, this is a conference that will encourage and equip your church leaders and influencers.

SPEAKERS

Todd Miles Ph.D.:
Todd Miles Todd is a Professor of Theology at Western Seminary, in Portland, Oregon, where he teaches Theology, Hermeneutics, Biblical Theology, Church History, Pastoral Ethics, and Apologetics. He currently serves as Teacher Pastor at Gresham Bible Church. As a speaker and author, Todd equips church leaders to better understand their cultural contexts for effectively sharing the gospel.

Duane Tweeten:
Duane Tweeten serves as the President of Training Leaders International (TLI). Having served as a small-town pastor for 17 years in Nebraska, he is known by many across the Heartland. As the President of TLI, Duane works with local church pastors to help bring theological training to global ministers who are most in need. Duane’s work has been to globally mobilize and equip ministry leaders for Great Commission effectiveness and obedience.

Dr. John Jenkins:
Dr. John Jenkins serves as the President of Converge Worldwide and the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Glenarden, MD. Dr. Jenkins has spent the past few years helping to develop a local church evangelism cohort model with Wheaton College and the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism. His aim as Converge President is to see churches grow stronger in their evangelism and discipleship efforts.
